PPWR is the EU’s packaging law. If you send packaged products directly to customers in another EU country, you may need to register there and report the packaging materials included in those orders. Each country classifies materials its own way, so the same box is reported differently in every one.

No. Set your packaging materials and weights once, and GetPPWR can automatically apply them to matching products, including products added later. You can also adjust individual products whenever needed.

Yes. GetPPWR can run your packaging automations across past Shopify orders, fill gaps in your packaging data, and calculate material totals by destination country. This saves you from rebuilding your order history manually.

You get packaging totals by country, broken down by material and weight, in the format that country’s register expects. Every report gets a version number and is stored in your report history, so you can go back to an earlier period and download it again. PDF, Excel or CSV, ready to hand to your representative.

No. GetPPWR writes them, a local representative files them.

That split is not a limitation of the software. Under the EU packaging regulation, a seller who makes packaging available in a country where it is not established has to file through a representative registered there. The register will not accept a filing from anyone else.

So GetPPWR does the part that takes days: working out what you actually shipped, in which materials, to which country, and producing that country’s own report form with the source data behind every figure.

For the filing itself we work with Lizenzero, who act as your representative in the markets you sell into.

Yes. GetPPWR is built to use as little customer-related data as possible. We do not request or store customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, full delivery addresses, Shopify customer IDs, or payment details.

The app only processes the limited order information needed to calculate packaging reports, such as the destination country, product quantities, fulfilment dates and technical order identifiers.

This data is never sold or used for advertising, customer profiling or marketing. It is used only to provide your packaging calculations and reports, protected with appropriate security measures and deleted according to our data retention policy.

Yes. GetPPWR includes a 7-day free trial, giving you time to set up your packaging, analyze your orders, and create your first reports before the paid plan begins.
